Vision and Mission

CENSUDI believes that the social, economic and political equality of women is a major prerequisite to the development of a healthy and diversified society, and of attaining the wider goal of good governance and sustainable development.  CENSUDI therefore aims to provide women with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to play a full part in the development process and to take charge of their lives. CENSUDI also believes that males are a very important and central element in any efforts at strengthening and unlocking excellence in women and girls. Therefore, CENSUDI ensures that gender sensitized males and their voices are integrated at all levels and stages of our activities.

Our vision is: of a world where communities and organisations can provide an enabling environment in which women and girls can realise their full potential and contribute their best to the common good.

Our mission is: is to enable communities and organizations to reduce their poverty and create sustainable wealth by eliminating unfair discrimination against women and girls whilst also   improving women’s secure access to land and finance, time and other productive resources, education, respect, health and decision-making.
